Overcoming Agoraphobia
Overcoming agoraphobia can be a tricky piece of business because it s always tied into an anxiety disorder. In other words, we generally think of overcoming anxiety as a means to defeating agoraphobia and vice versa. The two 
illnesses are actually one, and so they tend to work together as well as leave together as they are cured.
Agoraphobia means “fear of the market place” but the term applies to anyone who has apprehension about leaving his or her home. It also applies or to people who are afraid to go to certain places, such as church.
The start of he cure happens when the sufferer learns not to force anything and is able to venture out little by little each day. The key is to procede by making “baby steps.”
