From your description it doesnt sound like your having a panic attack. when i have panic attacks it feels like the walls are closing in on u and u cant really breath. Since u have a kidney deseise check with your doctor and see whats going on.

  2. The xanex should take care of the chest pain if its part of anxiety/panic attack. Its probable that something else is causing this pain. Best to get back to the doctor and get it checked out. A soar breast does not fit in with any of you problems so please get to the doc’s. Good Luck.

  3. I was born with kidney reflux disease. My kidneys repaired themselves as I grew up, to a certain degree. I get infections on occasion, and I also have an anxiety disorder. When I have a bad panic attack, my chest hurts as well. Once the attack stops, my chest feels better. Yoga helps me calms down fast. I found 1 pose in particular that forces me to correct my rapid breathing. I take medication at time too though.

  4. Okay, Dude, I hope you check this quickly. I have panic/anxiety disorder from a string of accidents in tha late 80′s, no I didn’t cause any. But boy am I afraid of the idiots that don’t know pain yet. Meanwhile. I also have Heart Disease and have five stents, BIGD!!!! But to the Doctor! You need a stress test immediatly. Insist! They compared the change in my stress test findings from five years earlier to the one I took that day. Far too much change, had first three arteries unplugged that day, just short of my 43rd Birthday. I was lucky though, because even though I was gravely ill and would have died had I not gone in…..I was out of the Hospital in three days and back to work the next Monday. Because I had that old test to compare. Please, don’t freak, out, just call your Doctor and tell him/her you are either having a heart attack or the worlds worst panic attack. Be firm. Call an ambulance if you have to, call your family, whatever it takes?! I wish I could have emailed this to you, I am so sorry to tell you all this, this way. But My last, what I thought was panic, was not so bad and a few weeks ago. (One of those little cars that drives like a fruit fly…) My last heart surgery was when I didn’t trust my own instincts and put myself through unbelievable pain for nothing. Go! Ya Big D and email Me so I know you are okay. It helps to breath fresh air. Go outside when you start to “panic” how are you sleeping? LOL or at least I would if I wasn’t seriously concerned. Everybody feels pain differently. Bill Clinton had all five arteries ballooned at once, Alberto Salazar almost died on a business trip in Oregon last week. They got to him on time. Please, you’ll feel back to your old spunky self within’ hours. I had lots of bruising, but felt no pain. Still haven’t since last two surgeries five years ago. I’m sorry this is so long, but if anybody know how to get hold of the Administrators here that can get hold of our BIG D, we could SAVE A LIFE!!!!! 911~911~911~911!

No that doesn’t sound like a panic attack.
You should go to your doctor what your describing sounds a little scary. I’m guessing you had X-Rays and everything done in 2004. But I’m thinking scarring internally. And it should be looked at.

  6. hey i suffer frm panic disorder too used too always think i was having heart attack still happens today all normal symtoms of this anxiety crap wat can i say im highly strung 1 thing i do know, if you have never had a heart problem before or your blood pressure hasnt increased, and your fingers and lips arnt blue and tingle, or your breathless and have crushing chest pain its unlikely you have a heart problem but to be sure take an aspro(if not allergic)or some ant acid and go to hospital could yu have gall stones or ulcers hope you feel better soon sending you a hug too make you smile

  7. Hi, sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. The symtoms of a heart attack and panic attack can be quite similar. The key to controlling a panic attack is to breathe properly. The following steps will eliminate (or at least significantly reduce) your panic attacks in the short and long term:

1.Breathe properly – if you control your breathing, you control panic. As soon as you notice the signs of anxiety, check your breathing: breathe in slowly through your nose pushing your tummy out (to the count of 5 or so). Breathe out slowly and for a bit longer (to the count of 7 or so) through your mouth. Do not breathe rapidly or shallowly (in the chest area). This will soon restore the balance of oxygen and you will feel a lot better.

    2. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy! CBT is proven to be the most effective thing for panic attacks, OCD and anxiety etc. It takes a bit of work, but it is super effective. (After 15 years of panic attacks, mine stopped completely). You can take a course for free online at: http://www.livinglifetothefull.com It has been funded by NHS Scotland and has had great results thus far.

    3. Try relaxation exercise tapes (progressive muscular relaxation). They really help if you practise often enough. This site has instructions on how to do it without the tapes (and other useful info): http://www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/resources/minipax.cfm?mini_ID=23

With each step practise makes perfect. (i.e. practise the steps every day, not just when you are feeling bad). I hope you feel better soon. Best of luck!
