Social anxiety help is not an exact science because there are different ways in which social anxiety manifests itself. For instance, there are some people who build fences around themselves by becoming so inhospitable no one would
dare interact when them.
There are others who fight their way through social gatherings while working themselves into anxious conditions perhaps even experiencing panic attacks. The first type of person needs to deal with a reclusive condition while the second will need help dealing with anxiety panic disorder.
Naturally, each type of person would require different types of treatment. However, the core of the treatment is the same. The patient has to learn to relax in situations he/she is not comfortable with and even more importantly, he/she must want to overcome the social anxiety. It is impossible to force help upon this type of patient.
