After a person gets the feel of how well surrender stops anxiety from building, the next step, as unbelievable as it may sound, is to try to make anxiety or panic worse. You can't make it worse, trying to will bring relief.

It may be difficult to master at first and you may need a coach to help you through the first attack or two, but if you challenge panic to do the worse it can do to you, you cut off the supply of adrenaline it needs to be effective.

This is because adrenaline is fired up when you are trying to escape your anxiety. Go toward your anxiety and it will run from you.

The way you have described that panic grows from ordinary nervousness is very impressive. I didn't know the cause of this before.

Thanks for this article.
